The Goddard School® located in Doylestown on Farm Lane is seeking a motivated and caring Assistant Preschool Teacher. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. You'll support the Lead Teacher in delivering an engaging, developmentally rich classroom experience for three-year-olds. Assistant Preschool Teacher Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- Help foster each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Assist with classroom management, transitions and small-group activities
- Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
- Assist in communicating with parents about their child's day, progress and activities
- Maintain accurate daily records and logs for each child
- Adhere to all health, safety and licensing guidelines

Are You a Fit?
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or school setting preferred
- Energetic, patient and genuinely caring with young children and their families
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a classroom team
- Basic understanding of preschool-aged child development
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
