About the Role:Star Learning Center LLC in Forsyth, GA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress
- Assist with daily routines including meals, transitions, and outdoor play
- Observe and document student behavior and development as needed
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic
