    Assistant Teacher - Floater

    Bethlehem PA | Full Time Hourly Monday-Friday 900am-600pm | 15.50-17.00 per hour

    What is needed for this job

    High school diploma

    AssociateBachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education child development special education elementary education or the human services field preferred

    Are 21 and have 2 years of experience working with children in a professional volunteer or familial capacity

    Passionate about working with children in a fun diverse environment

    Ability to pass all relevant clearances

    The responsibilities we will trust you with

    Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn

    Being patient and kind with our parents

    Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical emotional and intellectual growth of children in the program

    Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives

    Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
