The purpose of this position is to assist with supervision of custodial services and daily operations of the department. Plan, develop, organize, and direct all aspects of custodial services.

Essential Job Duties

• Clean and maintain assigned areas
• Use Flowpath software to enter, assign, and complete work orders as needed.
• Train new custodial staff
• Inspect buildings and work areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met.
• Assist with employees' schedules, attendance records, and coverage for absences.
• Maintain records, complete inspection reports, and communicate operational issues to supervisor.
• Assist with special events, after-hour emergencies, and deep cleaning projects.
• Clean carpet as needed.
• Performs supervisor duties in their absence.

• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Email and calendar management
• Basic inventory and supply tracking
• Printing, scanning, and document management.
• Knowledge of facilities and campus layout;
• Ability to delegate and manage workloads;
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written;
• Ability to work on-call and before/after normal work hours as requested.
