• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on active healthcare construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site activities, material deliveries, and project logistics.
• Monitor project schedules and help ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Support quality control efforts and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Conduct site walks, identify potential issues, and assist in resolving field challenges.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and safety records.
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings as needed.
• Promote jobsite safety and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

• 2 to 5 years of construction experience in a field leadership capacity.
• Healthcare construction experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working on commercial, institutional, healthcare, or public-sector projects.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency with common construction software platforms such as Procore or similar tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to commute to the Hartford, Connecticut area and project sites throughout the state.

• Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.
