Assistant Superintendent

We are partnering with a well-established, employee-owned commercial construction business with a strong presence across the Southeast. Known for investing heavily in employee development and promoting from within. Job Description

Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure activities align with project schedules. Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with project specifications. Support the implementation and enforcement of jobsite safety programs. Track project progress and identify potential schedule impacts. Participate in subcontractor meetings, site walks, and inspections. Assist with project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Early-career construction professional with strong career progression and stable employment history. Experience supporting commercial construction projects valued at $50M+ preferred. Exposure to multifamily, student housing, senior living, hospitality, mixed-use, or similar commercial projects. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel and work on project assignments throughout the Southeast region. Solid understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control processes. Proficiency with construction management technology and project documentation software
