Position Summary
Neenan is currently in search of an Assistant Superintendent in San Antonio, TX with the potential to relocate based on the needs of our projects.
This role works closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Neenan's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Superintendent in managing all aspects of jobsite operations.
* Coordinate and monitor daily construction activities to maintain project schedule and productivity.
* Support the planning and management of workflows for subcontractors and trade partners.
* Review project documents, including soils reports and site-specific recommendations, with the Superintendent.
* Implement and maintain Neenan Design and Construction Quality Control Standards.
* Prepare and maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
* Support the administration and enforcement of jobsite safety programs in partnership with the Safety Director.
* Monitor construction quality and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standards.
* Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety across the jobsite.
* Inspect materials and installations prior to acceptance, including doors, frames, hardware, handrails, drywall finishes, and other building components.
* Assist with punch list completion, inspections, and project closeout activities.
* Foster positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and project team members.
Qualifications
Required
* 3+ years of field experience in commercial construction.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
* OSHA 30, or other relevant safety certifications.
* Working knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and jobsite operations.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, climbing, walking jobsites, and working in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
* Previous experience supporting large commercial construction projects.
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
* Willingness to relocate temporarily or permanently based on project needs.
