Position Overview
Omari Construction is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Superintendent to support field operations across active job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional seeking flexible hours while contributing to high-quality project execution.
You will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to help maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards on-site.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in supervising daily jobsite activities to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and field operations to support project schedules
- Conduct site walks, maintain daily logs, and help track progress
- Identify and help resolve field issues in a timely manner
- Support safety compliance and enforce OSHA and company standards
- Assist with punch lists, project closeout, and turnover documentation
- Communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, and project leadership
What You Bring
- 3–8 years of construction experience (commercial or residential)
- Working knowledge of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination
- Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on-site (standing/walking for extended periods)
