Assistant Super - Multifamily Construction

Family owned firm, in business for decades, is looking for an Assistant Super to join their team! First job - wood frame multifamily project in Everett, MA. They have grown substantially over the past 20 years into one of New England's premier GCs! Build high-profile projects up to $120M across various sectors: Multifamily, Senior living, Mixed-use, Hotels, Academic - special projects division for life science & TI work. Large enough to have a significant & stable pipeline of projects, small enough where you are not just a number.

Job Description

Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
Assist in managing subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedules and quality standards.
Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations.
Support the Project Superintendent in resolving construction-related challenges.
Oversee material deliveries and inventory management on-site.
Communicate regularly with the project team to provide updates on progress and any issues.
Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Perform inspections to confirm the quality of work meets project specifications.

The Successful Applicant

Experience with construction projects, specifically multifamily residential buildings.
Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances on-site.
