Job Description

Assist in managing day-to-day field operations on healthcare and commercial construction projects. Support the Superintendent in maintaining project schedules, quality standards, and job site safety. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved. Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field-related issues. Participate in site meetings and communicate project updates to leadership and project teams. Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Assist with site logistics, inspections, punch list activities, and project closeout efforts. Maintain project documentation and utilize construction management software, including Procore. Support projects across Connecticut while working closely with project management and field leadership teams. Report directly to field leadership and collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of construction experience in a field leadership, foreman, assistant superintendent, or related role.
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, site safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to commute to Hartford, CT and project sites throughout Connecticut.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare construction experience.
  • Exposure to occupied renovation projects or medical facility construction.
  • Familiarity with Procore or other construction management software.
  • Experience working on projects valued up to $30M.
