Description

The Assistant Superintendent will report to the Superintendent and Project Team, supporting field operations from project start through completion. This is a hands-on role focused on project execution, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

• Assist with the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects
• Support coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and on-site activities
• Monitor project schedules and assist in maintaining progress milestones
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Help enforce site safety programs and regulatory compliance requirements
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
• Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to project leadership

Profile

For the Assistant Superintendent we are seeking:

• 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or similar field leadership role
• Ground-up commercial construction experience required
• Experience working on commercial projects such as municipal, higher education, office, institutional, or mixed-use developments
• Strong understanding of construction schedules and project sequencing
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• High-energy, career-driven mindset with a desire to develop into a Superintendent role
• Proficiency with construction management technology and project documentation tools

Job Offer

• Base salary: $80,000 - $92,700, depending on experience
