Assistant SuperFamily owned firm, in business for decades, is looking for an Assistant Super to join their team! First job - wood frame multifamily project in Everett, MA. They have grown substantially over the past 20 years into one of New England's premier GCs! Build high-profile projects up to $120M across various sectors: Multifamily, Senior living, Mixed-use, Hotels, Academic - special projects division for life science & TI work. Large enough to have a significant & stable pipeline of projects, small enough where you are not just a number.The Assistant Super is responsible for:Onsite daily in Everett, MAWorking closely with the Lead Superintendent in the day-to-day management of the project's construction plan.Assisting in the administration of the Callahan Safety Program, including pre-construction meetings, pre-task planning, daily monitoring, and enforcement of all applicable safety requirements.Communicating clear expectations for safety to project teams with the goal of achieving zero incidents and accidents.Assisting the team in maintaining and distributing construction documents to subcontractors, including Plans, Specifications, RFIs, Bulletins, and Field Reports.Verifying subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established line and grade, rough openings, and other important dimensions.Administering Callahan's Quality Management Program, specifically First Delivery and Benchmark Inspections, documenting deficiencies, and assisting in tracking them through final resolution.Continuously monitoring job progress on-site and checking all work to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.Monitoring and documenting daily construction activities for assigned areas or scopes using written reports, photographs, sketches, and other software tools.Helping create and distribute daily and weekly work plans to the project team, including schedules and logistics plans.Attending and participating in weekly and/or monthly meetings with customers and clients, providing updates on construction status and addressing concerns.Compiling and maintaining all permits, testing records, and inspections required for successful project completion and acceptance within assigned areas or scopes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
