Our client is a growing Construction Management / General Contracting firm headquartered in Manhattan with additional offices throughout New Jersey. With a mid-sized team and a highly experienced leadership group, the company specializes in delivering complex commercial construction projects including corporate office interiors, healthcare facilities, hospitality, food service and preparation facilities, entertainment, and mixed-use developments.
Assist the Superintendent with daily site operations on a ground-up mixed-use construction project. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Monitor project schedules and assist in maintaining project milestones and deadlines. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract documents, and project specifications. Review and maintain field documentation, daily reports, and site records through Procore. Maintain effective communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, preferably within commercial construction. Currently serving as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent with a General Contractor. Experience working on ground-up commercial, mixed-use, office, healthcare, hospitality, or similar construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety. Proficient in Procore with experience managing field documentation and project communication. Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain project momentum in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across project teams.
