A respected General Contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on ground-up and renovation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to grow into a Lead Superintendent role while working with a stable company that values teamwork, safety, and career advancement.

Assistant Superintendent Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer
• Required experience working on public sector construction projects in New Jersey, with knowledge of NJ public project requirements, prevailing wage regulations, and safety/compliance standards
• Experience assisting with daily field operations on ground-up and interior commercial projects
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage project schedules, and maintain quality control
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Commitment to jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
