JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Superintendent will oversee daily construction operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist day-to-day contact with Owner(s) to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in the management of all aspects of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Provide oversight of subcontractors and employees to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
Monitor safety practices on-site, promoting a culture of safety compliance and awareness.
Assist in scheduling project tasks and coordinating with various teams to optimize workflow.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and management to resolve any issues that arise.
Document daily site activities and report progress to the Superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or related roles, with a focus on field operations.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
