    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Eligible for certification as an Intermediate Administrator or Supervisor (092 endorsement) in Connecticut
    • Advanced degree preferred, preferably advanced training in curriculum and educational administration
    • Minimum of six years of experience as a school administrator, preferably as a director of district-wide programs or member of the central administrative staff with direct staff supervision and program evaluation responsibilities
    • Such additions and alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable

    REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools

    SUPERVISES: Instructional Leaders in collaboration with Principals

    Data, Analytics, and Assessment Officer

    District Instructional Leaders for Fine and Performing Arts and Physical Education/Health

    Administrative Assistant for Curriculum and Instruction

    Selected teachers

    JOB GOALS:

    • To assist the Superintendent in articulating, developing, executing, and monitoring plans for the realization of the district's Vision of a Learner and overall vision and mission for the Wilton Public Schools. To provide overall leadership in articulating and coordinating the curriculum and instructional program K-12.
    • To work collaboratively with the Director of Digital Learning to integrate technology and digital resources into the instructional program.
    • To provide leadership in implementing and evaluating the district assessment programs and professional learning activities.
