    The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets, maintaining operational standards, and creating a positive shopping experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Store Operations

    • Assist in managing day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
    • Support inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention activities

    Sales & Performance

    • Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs
    • Monitor sales trends and suggest improvement strategies
    • Assist in planning promotions, displays, and merchandising activities

    Team Management

    • Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of store staff
    • Motivate and guide team members to deliver high-quality service
    • Act as Store Manager in their absence

    Customer Experience

    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
    • Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

    Reporting & Administration

    • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
    • Support cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day reconciliation
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
    • 2–4 years of retail experience, including a supervisory role
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in POS systems and basic MS Office
