Assistant Store Manager

We're hiring a full-time, hourly Assistant Bakery Operations Manager (ABOM) at our Lake Charles, LA location. This role is part of our leadership development pipeline, preparing individuals to become Bakery Operations Managers. The ABOM operates at near-BOM level, managing bakery operations with accuracy, urgency, and accountability, while supporting talent development and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing bakery operations such as inventory, scheduling, and staffing
• Maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Supporting hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training staff
• Managing bakery operations independently when needed, especially in BOM's absence
• Partnering with leadership to identify and address operational gaps

Success in this role means: independently handling all operational tasks, ensuring a fully staffed high-performing bakery, fostering accountability, and demonstrating readiness for advancement to a BOM role.

Qualifications: 1+ year of leadership in fast-paced environments, strong operational discipline, coaching skills, and effective communication.
