Our client, a leading beauty and skincare company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support a high-performing retail team and deliver an elevated customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity in a sales-driven environment focused on customer relationships, team development, and store success.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr - $30/hr, Depending on experience

Position Overview:
The Assistant Store Manager will help lead daily store operations, support and develop the retail team, and ensure an exceptional experience for every customer. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who is comfortable in a sales-focused environment and brings a customer-first, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager:
  • Lead and support the retail team in achieving sales and customer experience goals.
  • Create a welcoming, personalized experience for customers and proactively address their needs.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to support individual and team performance.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and address challenges or conflicts effectively.
  • Support daily store operations and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Use business and analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive store performance.
  • Build strong customer relationships and support clienteling initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of customers and team members.
  • Maintain a solution-focused and adaptable approach in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Store Manager:
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in retail or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a sales-driven environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong service skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable using basic technology and retail systems.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different customers and team members.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Store Manager:
  • Store management experience.
  • Experience in beauty, skincare, body care, or fragrance.
  • Clienteling and customer relationship management experience.
  • Experience working toward sales goals and KPIs.
  • Background in an elevated or specialty retail environment.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
