    Hiring: Assistant Service Manager

    Pay:$80,000 - $130,000 annually

    Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This unique leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing customer relationships, and can effectively balance operational responsibilities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of supporting service advisors, assisting customers, coordinating parts operations, and driving overall department performance. The store is seeking an individual who can effectively manage both Parts and Service responsibilities while serving as a strong Assistant Service Manager.


    What You'll Do


    • Support the day-to-day operations of the Service and Parts Departments.
    • Act as a working Assistant Service Manager while helping oversee parts operations and inventory needs.
    • Assist customers throughout the service process, including vehicle write-ups, repair updates, and delivery.
    • Help manage technician workflow, scheduling, and shop productivity.
    • Partner with Parts personnel to ensure timely parts availability and efficient repair order processing.
    • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction scores and service retention efforts.
    • Assist with warranty administration, repair order accuracy, and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
    • Support employee coaching, training, and process improvement initiatives.
    • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
    • Collaborate with dealership leadership to achieve department sales, service, and profitability goals.

    What You'll Bring

    Required Qualifications


    • Previous automotive service leadership experience as an Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of both Parts and Service Department operations.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities across service and parts functions.
    • Proven leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
    • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications


    • Previous Infiniti, Nissan, or luxury-brand dealership experience preferred.
    • Experience overseeing or supporting both Parts and Service operations.
    • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar software.
    • Knowledge of warranty administration, inventory management, and fixed operations processes.

    Education & Licensing


    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate degree or additional automotive management training preferred.
    • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

    Total Rewards

    Potential Earnings up to $130,000 annually commission plan.


    Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
