    Locally owned and operated Midas Auto Service in Spartanburg is looking to add an Assistant Service Manager / Advisor as we continue to grow our location into the "Dealership Alternative" for the Spartanburg area.

    This position is considered a Service Manager to Store Manager developmental role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.

    Responsibilities
    As an automotive service manager / advisor at our shop, you will work together with other team members and assist the business owner with the daily operations of the shop. These responsibilities would include:
    • Greeting customers and delivering exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
    • Oversee vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations for the customer's vehicle service needs.
    • Discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials.
    • Help lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies’ vision, purpose and core values.
    • Sourcing and ordering parts needed for completion of services and repairs as required.
    • Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
    • Assist the shop Business Owner in all areas of daily operations as directed. 
    • Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.


    Qualifications
    • A minimum of 3 years of automotive service or repair experience.
    • Ability to work well within a team environment.
    • Excellent customer service disposition.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Leadership ability.
    • Strong telephone skills.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays.
    • Valid driver’s license.
