Assistant Sausage Maker

Dittmer's is seeking an assistant sausage maker with one or more years of experience. Create an outstanding customer experience through exception service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.Job Duties and Responsibilities - Duties include, but limited toDaily sausage and lunch meat making, cutting/preparing meats for sausage making, loading sausages on Inventory control (of all meat products, supplies, ingredients etc), Excellent customer service, Merchandising/maintaining attractive display cases; Maintain regulatory compliance; Maintain cleaning and sanitation procedures; Sausage productionRequirements include but limited to:Stand and walk for extended periods of time; Bend to grasp objects; Reach above and below shoulders; Lift loads - not to exceed 70 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds; Repetitive use of hands; Be supportive of other team members; Highly knowledgeable in meat cuts; Cutting all types of meats and poultry; Providing exceptional customer service, including preparing custom orders. . .Who we are:Dittmer's Gourmet Meats & Wurst-Haus is a family owned butcher shop and delicatessen that has been making homemade sausages, lunch meats and smoked meats.
