ASSISTANT SAFETY MANAGER
Position Summary
WIELAND's Assistant Safety Manager will be responsible for communicating the WIELAND Safety Plan to all employees. They will recommend, schedule, maintain records of, and report on Safety Health and Environment (SH&E) employee training. This individual works closely with the Safety Department to identify, track, and report to WIELAND employees key performance indicators of the SH&E plan procedures and results. This person will collaborate with the Safety Department, Pre-Construction, Operations, Corporate Compliance, job site teams, trade partners, suppliers, and job site stakeholders in the common interest of all, to anticipate, identify, discuss, and implement controls to eliminate or reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
