Mulligan’s Restaurant, located inside the Best Western Plus Raton Hotel in Raton, NM, is seeking a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our restaurant and lounge operations.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with restaurant leadership to ensure excellent guest service, efficient operations, and a positive work environment for our team. This position requires strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with the daily operation of the restaurant and lounge
Supervise and support restaurant staff during assigned shifts
Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service
Assist with employee training and coaching
Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and service standards
Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed
Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
