We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a high-volume, full-service casual dining restaurant. This is a true restaurant leadership role with responsibility for both Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and effective team leadership.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and has a proven ability to manage daily restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily FOH and BOH operations to ensure smooth, efficient restaurant performance.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining high standards of food quality and hospitality.
- Manage labor, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to build a strong restaurant culture.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures while ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Support P&L performance by driving sales, controlling costs, and improving profitability.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Foster teamwork and provide leadership during high-volume service periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
- Experience leading both Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.
- Background in full-service casual dining preferred; strong fast casual leadership experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams in high-volume restaurants.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Candidates must currently reside in California and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned territory.
