Assistant Restaurant Manager - Anchor Bar

Anchor Bar's Transit Road location is looking for an AssistantManager to help direct and supervise dining room food and beverage service. You will greet and seat guests, handle comments and guest relations and manage Front as well as Back of House Staff.

As Assistant Manager, you must have excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant’s hectic setting. You must be able to thrive and multitask in a fast paced and demanding environment while maintaining composure.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsibilities include seating the door, supervising waitstaff and encouraging productivity, front of house scheduling, opening/closing the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Directly report to owner of the restaurant.
• Supervise dining room and inspect the work of the wait and bus staff and other dining room employees; see that service is technically correct, efficient and courteous.

• Know daily specials, menus and operating issues.
• Act as a point of contact for guests.

• Oversee and manage servers to ensure smooth, efficient service; assign server stations.

• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Assist in administering a training program for front of house staff.
• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the dining room, including but not limited to, inspecting service, coordinating reservations with room set-up and staff schedules.
• Inspect the restaurant on a daily basis, insuring that is always presentable.
