Assistant Residence Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Residence Supervisor to provide leadership, support staff, and help ensure quality services for the individuals we serve. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an OPWDD residential/group home setting is required.

Assistant Residence Supervisor –OPWDD Group Home

Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay: $22.00–$23.00/hour | Full-Time

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an OPWDD residential/group home setting is required. Candidates without residential supervisory experience will not be considered.

Join an established OPWDD residential program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Residence Supervisor to provide leadership, support staff, and help ensure quality services for the individuals we serve.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an OPWDD residential/group home setting
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience supervising Direct Support Professionals or residential staff
• High School Diploma required (Associate's Degree in Health or Human Services preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to residential staff
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, payroll, and emergency coverage
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies
• Oversee implementation of individualized service plans
• Maintain documentation, financial records, and required residential reports
• Coordinate community outings and recreational activities
