Summary/objective
The Assistant Radiation Safety Officer (ARSO) role encompasses team leadership, operational excellence, and fosters a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
The ARSO, in collaboration with the RSO, is responsible for the leadership and framework of radiation safety across the organization including managing, mitigating, and/or eliminating risks to Niowave's employees, contractors, facilities, environment, and communities in which the company operates. This position assists the Radiation Safety Officer in providing support, strategic direction, tactical execution, and policy guidance for radiation safety at Niowave. In the absence of the RSO, the Assistant RSO assumes the duties of the RSO.
