Position Summary
The Assistant Standard Parts Cost Administrator is responsible for evaluating vendor part pricing, purchase history, current purchase variations and projection analysis. Having evaluated these, the Assistant Standard Parts Cost Administrator will input the data into the Parts System and track the effect on a variety of products the company manufacturers. This Position has excellent upward mobility for a self-motivated conscientious person.
This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with the Purchasing department to obtain acceptable vendor price list
• Review and log the Data from the vendor price lists into Excel spreadsheets
• Research and evaluate the Purchase history for the parts and compare to the vendor prices.
• Review and analyze recent purchase variations and discuss any discrepancies or inconsistencies with the Purchasing Dept.
• Evaluate in conjunction with the Purchasing Dept. the need for and implementation of Projections and/or Surcharges.
• Monitor and Maintain Outside Process costs on applicable parts.
• Manually input new costs for parts affected by a changed price.
• After initiating and completing the Update, review and the new part costs and effect on the products they constitute.
• Once the update is successfully completed, distribute the updated Base Model Cost and Projection sheets to all necessary employees.
Qualifications:
• Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or engineering, a plus
• Demonstrate quantitative and analytical skills for problem solving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired

Compensation:
• Salary Range: $52,000 to $80,000 annually
