Assistant Purchasing Manager

Now Hiring Assistant Purchasing Manager for one of our awesome partners. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager in managing and coordinating the purchasing activities of the plant.

Pay: $30.00

Job Duties

• Must have experience in food industry 
• Raw materials inventory control (Estimating / Calculating usage over 500 different types of raw materials for future’s and ordering to suppliers, and checking if inventory is covered with our production demand)
• Negotiating with vendors/supplier to secure the best princes and terms (Price, Lead time, Quality Issues)
• Train and supervise purchasing personnel to ensure efficient operations
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and inventory control
• New business development for local or foreign suppliers
• Assistant for planning production schedule of plant
• Check inventory and analyze variance for Monthly / Annual closing
• Maintain production / raw materials information in company database
• Assistant for buying and supplying raw materials to new production lines
