Duties Description As a member of the Public Information Unit, the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Public Information Officer include maintaining the agency's grant programs, assisting in public outreach and communications, supporting County Boards of Elections, and general office administration.

This position requires the ability to handle sensitive matters in a confidential manner. It also requires proficiency at Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and the routine use of email and a multi -line phone system.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
A college degree in communications or political science is preferred. One year of experience in an office setting. College or business school studies/training may be substituted in whole/part.
