    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in the successful lease-up and daily operations of the community. Working closely with the Property Manager, this position supports leasing, resident relations, financial administration, marketing initiatives, and operational excellence while helping achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
    The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating an exceptional living experience for residents.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Deliver an exceptional leasing experience by warmly greeting prospects and conducting engaging community tours.
    • Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
    • Guide prospects through the entire leasing process.
    • Prepare lease documents and ensure accurate completion of all paperwork.
    • Support lease renewal initiatives and resident retention programs.
    • Assist with executing marketing and outreach strategies to maximize occupancy.
    • Monitor market conditions and regularly evaluate competing communities.
    • Create an exceptional resident experience through responsive service, effective communication, and proactive resolution of resident needs.
    • Assist with rent collections, posting payments, delinquency follow-up, and resident account management.
    • Prepare reports, maintain resident files, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
    • Support the Property Manager with budgeting, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.
    • Ensure apartments and amenity spaces are maintained to the highest presentation standards.
    • Proactively identify maintenance needs and partner with the maintenance team to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • Previous Assistant Property Manager or Leasing Manager experience. 
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.
    • Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
