A TempExperts client is expanding and seeking a sharp, people-focused Assistant Property Manager to help drive strong property operations, support residents, and elevate the overall community experience. This role is key to ensuring quality housing, smooth day-to-day operations, and a positive, well-supported resident environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support leasing activity: certifications, renewals, move-ins, and applicant engagement.
• Build strong resident relationships and contribute to a connected community.
• Manage rent collection, delinquencies, reporting, and month-end tasks.
• Walk properties regularly and coordinate maintenance and inspections.
• Prepare notices and assist with legal documentation when needed.
• Maintain accurate files and uphold HUD, LIHTC, and fair housing compliance.
• Step in for the Asset Manager when required and help support junior team members.

What You Bring:

• Experience in property management or affordable housing (LIHTC/HOME preferred).
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking ability.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and property management platforms.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between sites.
