Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Assistant
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager who is eager to learn and grow with a company that has over 100 years of experience in Property Management and Development. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, family-oriented environment and delivering exceptional service to our tenants.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Ability to prepare and understand variance reports and analyze financial results
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Commitment to tenant satisfaction and providing exceptional customer service
Commercial property management experience is preferred
Real Estate license or industry knowledge is preferred
Responsibilities
Conduct building, leasing, and quality control inspections
Assist with tenant move-ins/move-outs, signage, insurance documentation, and vendor coordination
Maintain consistent communication with tenants, vendors, and internal staff
Support the accounting team with financial reporting for wholly owned and third-party properties
Prepare, review, and assist with analysis of monthly financial and variance reports
Assist with project management, including scoping, bidding, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks and work within systems such as Building Engines, Yardi, and Jenark
Assist with website updates, marketing materials, and brochures
Assist with other property management and administrative duties as needed
