Assistant Property Manager – Apartment Community
Location: North Austin
We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This position supports the Property Manager in the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community while providing exceptional service to residents and prospective tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, and lease renewals.
- Handle resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting.
- Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Prepare reports, process paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
- Support occupancy goals and resident retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus.
