Landscape Construction Project Coordinator

Our client is a leading landscape construction and site development contractor headquartered in New Jersey. The company specializes in commercial landscaping, hardscape installation, site improvements, irrigation systems, athletic fields, parks, municipal projects, and large-scale outdoor construction. Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction and landscape development projects. Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration activities. Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders. Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met. Track project costs, maintain budget reports, and assist with forecasting. Prepare RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Monitor material deliveries and procurement schedules. Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built documentation, and final project turnover. Support compliance with company safety standards and quality control procedures. Maintain accurate project records and reporting throughout all phases of construction. Help identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Landscape Construction, or a related field preferred. 1-5 years of experience in construction, landscape construction, sitework, or project management support. Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with project management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, Primavera, or similar platforms is a plus. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Self-motivated with a desire to grow into a Project Manager role. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey as needed.
