Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing B2B SaaS company, for a Remote Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of key software implementation and product initiatives. Day to day, you will work closely with senior project managers, engineering leads, and customer success teams to keep projects on track, timelines realistic, and stakeholders informed. Responsibilities
- Support senior project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking SaaS implementation projects
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports using tools like Jira and Asana
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and decisions
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and task completion against deadlines
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and clients to provide project status updates
- Identify potential risks or roadblocks and escalate issues to the project lead
- Assist in the creation of project documentation, including scope statements and requirements
- Track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion
- Help facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and customer success
- Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is current and accessible
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related support role
- Experience working with or supporting SaaS, software, or technology projects preferred
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred
- CAPM certification or progress toward PMP certification is a plus
