Assistant Project Manager, Site Construction

Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager drives the project setup, submission delivery, project schedule and closeout for multiple projects under the mentorship of a Project Manager. This role offers opportunities to contribute to active projects and develop the skills needed to advance to the Project Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete project setup, ensuring all insurance enrollments are completed if applicable.
• Complete and confirm fully vetted submittals for submission
• Communicate regularly with vendors, PMs, and Supers for status updates.
• Track fabrication lead times and align with project schedule.
• Understand project schedule and prioritize work accordingly.
• Draft and update schedules monthly with PM and Super.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and align tasks to deadlines.
• Submit photo-supported punch list reports to client.
• Complete and submit all closeout documents.
• Drive project completion and final billing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Industries, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project support roles using Procore or similar construction project management program.
• Exhibits strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
