    Electrical Assistant Project Manager
    Job Summary


    Support the planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Work closely with project managers and field leadership to coordinate project documentation, budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and field activities while maintaining scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

    Responsibilities
    • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents during preconstruction.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks.
    • Prepare, review, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
    • Assist with estimates, budgets, scope letters, and bid packages.
    • Support project setup, cost tracking, and job administration.
    • Coordinate assigned scopes of work with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Support procurement planning and track material lead times.
    • Monitor project progress, schedule updates, and milestone completion.
    • Participate in project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
    • Maintain project logs, workflows, and tracking systems.
    • Process and track change orders, including pricing and client communication.
    • Manage project documents, including drawings, submittals, specifications, and revisions.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and support field coordination.
    • Assist with field issues, design conflicts, and coordination challenges.
    • Maintain clear communication among field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

    Requirements
    • Two to five years of commercial construction experience;electrical construction experience preferred.
    • Bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
    • Understanding of construction documents, schedules, budgets, and project workflows.
    • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
