Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will:

  • Support construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination activities
  • Maintain communication with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings and assist with project documentation
  • Support estimating, bidding, and procurement efforts
  • Coordinate material purchasing, deliveries, and vendor communications
  • Track project schedules and help identify potential risks or delays
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination, scope reviews, and contract documentation
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
  • Prepare meeting notes, reports, change orders, and project records
  • Support project financial tracking and cost-control initiatives
  • Assist with punch list completion, project turnover, and closeout documentation
  • Work closely with company leadership to develop project management skills and industry knowledge

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:

  • 2-5 years of construction, project coordination, or construction management experience
  • Residential construction experience preferred
  • Understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, and jobsite operations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a positive client experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and industry standards
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow professionally
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the region
