We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Coordinator to support data center, structured cabling, low-voltage, telecommunications, security, or technology infrastructure projects. This role requires frequent travel to project sites nationwide and involves coordinating and maintaining project documentation, supporting project managers, and ensuring successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and document control logs.
• Support Project Managers with daily project administration and execution.
• Create and maintain project records and tracking logs within Viewpoint.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, coordination, and resolution of project issues.
• Work with subcontractors and vendors to obtain required documentation and closeout materials.
• Support the collection and organization of owner manuals, maintenance documentation, and project turnover packages.
• Create job information sheets and establish project files under the direction of project leadership.
• Provide project oversight and coordination support during periods when the Project Manager is unavailable.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, low-voltage plans, and project specifications.
• Assist Project Managers and Field Supervisors with workflow planning and project execution strategies.
• Support monthly project billing processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Assist in drafting, tracking, and submitting RFIs.
• Ensure subcontractor and vendor documentation is complete and payments are processed timely.
• Review project schedules and assist with schedule updates and reporting.
• Support project budget setup and maintenance within Viewpoint.
• Coordinate with payroll and field teams to ensure labor reporting accuracy.
• Follow company safety requirements, project procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience supporting construction, low-voltage, telecommunications, technology infrastructure, structured cabling, or data center projects.
• Experience managing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
• Working knowledge of document control processes and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, low-voltage plans, and technical specifications.
• Experience working with Project Managers, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several active projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting data center construction or technology deployment projects.
• Experience with structured cabling, fiber optic, security, audiovisual, wireless, or other low-voltage systems.
• Experience using Viewpoint.
• Exposure to project budgeting, project billing, cost tracking, and schedule management.
• Understanding of data center construction and turnover processes.

Work Environment

This position requires 80-100% travel, with projects ranging from as short as 2 weeks to as long as 6 months. Projects are primarily located across the western half of the United States, including states like Wyoming, Texas, Nevada, and Oklahoma. The work environment offers an opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus, a 401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit), and GSA Per Diem. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
