Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for multifamily projects. You'll support wood-frame and podium apartment communities from buyout through closeout.

What You'll Do

• Support the Project Manager on budgets, schedules and buyout
• Manage submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes
• Track change orders and subcontractor pay applications
• Coordinate with the field team on unit turnover and punch lists
• Help drive closeout documentation and warranty items

What You Bring

• 2+ years of project engineering or APM experience with a general contractor
• Multifamily or residential construction experience
• Working knowledge of Procore or similar software
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
