Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a well-respected commercial general contractor that has successfully delivered projects throughout the Mid-South region for more than four decades. With expertise in General Contracting, Design-Build, and Construction Management, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, industrial, office, retail, education, multifamily, nonprofit, and interior fit-out construction.

Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction projects. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. Assist in managing project budgets and tracking expenses to maintain cost control. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site. Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address any concerns or issues as they arise. Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality. Help resolve any project-related challenges to keep tasks on track.

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have: experience with construction project coordination, including planning and scheduling. Familiarity with construction documents such as contracts and blueprints. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
