Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of luxury residential construction projects
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Process and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project documentation and maintain organized project records
  • Track material procurement and delivery schedules
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Assist with subcontractor bid solicitation and contract administration
  • Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and turnover documentation
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and quality standards
  • Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, assistant project management, or project engineering roles
  • Experience with residential construction, interior renovations, or high-end residential projects strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of construction documents, project management processes, and building systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software preferred
