Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager will:
- Assist Project Managers in overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination efforts.
- Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and help identify potential risks or delays.
- Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and status updates.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
- Support procurement activities and subcontractor buyout processes.
- Assist in project closeout, punch list completion, and final documentation.

A successful Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of construction experience, including internships or project coordination experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
