We are seeking a Building and Construction Commercial Assistant Project Manager with experience supporting ground-up commercial construction projects to join a growing construction team in King of Prussia. This role will work directly alongside the Superintendent to oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and drive project success from sitework through final completion.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all on-site operations for ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of sitework, foundations, structural steel, building envelope, and interior trades.
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Monitor daily productivity and identify opportunities to improve project performance.
  • Assist with project logistics, sequencing, and site coordination.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure workmanship meets company standards.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements across the jobsite.
  • Maintain daily reports, progress documentation, and site records.
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
  • Assist with punch-list completion and project closeout activities.

Profile

A successful Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2-5 years of experience on commercial construction projects.
  • Experience working on ground-up developments preferred.
  • Knowledge of site development, concrete, structural steel, and commercial building systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and project phases.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and jobsite sequencing.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
