    Assistant Project Manager – Janitorial Services

    McNear Agency Services LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the daily management of janitorial operations across commercial and government facilities. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager to ensure contract requirements are met, employees are properly supervised, quality standards are maintained, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

    This position serves as a key leadership role responsible for assisting with employee supervision, scheduling, inspections, training, customer communication, inventory management, and operational support. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, the ability to solve problems quickly, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

    The Assistant Project Manager must be capable of stepping into the Project Manager's responsibilities when needed and helping maintain efficient daily operations.



    Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of janitorial, custodial, or facilities management experience
    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to supervise and motivate employees
    • Experience conducting quality control inspections
    • Ability to create and manage employee schedules
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
    • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
    • Ability to pass a background investigation
    • Government contracting experience preferred
    • OSHA safety knowledge preferred
