Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - High-End Corporate Interiors - NoVA will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of high-end corporate interiors projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Supporting project budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and procurement activities.
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Working closely with clients, architects, consultants, and field teams to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinating with Superintendents to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Tracking project costs and assisting with monthly forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Helping maintain project schedules and identifying potential risks or delays.
  • Supporting project closeout, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company standards, contract requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders to support repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - High-End Corporate Interiors - NoVA will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally working on corporate interiors, tenant improvement, or office fit-out projects.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, project management processes, and building systems.
  • Experience managing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A desire to grow within a well-established commercial interiors contractor with a strong pipeline of repeat business.
  • Experience working on high-end corporate office interiors is a plus.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-facing environment and contribute to successful project delivery.
