Our client is a well-established, privately owned commercial construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex ground-up projects throughout the Southeast. With steady growth, a collaborative culture, and a commitment to developing future leaders, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of municipal, industrial, hospitality, and higher education construction projects.
Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
Manage submittals, requests for information, change orders, and project correspondence.
Track project costs and support financial reporting and forecasting activities.
Help maintain project schedules and identify potential risks or delays.
Participate in project meetings and provide accurate progress updates.
Support closeout activities, punch list management, and turnover documentation.

Experience with construction project coordination and management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of project documentation and compliance requirements.
Problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively.
2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or project engineering.
Experience supporting ground-up construction projects.
Exposure to municipal, higher education, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, or similar commercial sectors preferred.
Understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and project controls.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
