Construction Assistant Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the planning and execution of construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project management
• Help manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Track project progress and assist with change orders
• Attend project meetings and communicate with project stakeholders
• Help maintain project documentation and ensure deadlines are met
• Support the Project Manager with other project-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of construction experience with a general contractor or similar vertical construction organization
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Motivated to grow into a Project Manager role
